The story behind PT5
The Beginning
Mark Mok, our founder, began as an independent sourcing consultant for European and American clients. Years spent navigating state-owned and private foreign trade companies shaped his understanding of what international buyers need - and what they fear.
Formal Operations
PT5 China Sourcing Management Co., Ltd. was established in Hong Kong. Mark brought his hands-on experience to formal operations, building long-term relationships with suppliers across China.
Entering Dropshipping
We expanded into dropshipping operations, running multiple companies across China. Through this work, we saw the industry's systemic failures: hidden fees, fake QC, disappearing agents, and zero transparency.
Transparent Service Model
Determined to bring trust and transparency to an industry full of short-term thinking, we partnered with industry peers to launch the PT5 Transparent Service.
